Overland was born from a shared love of adventure and the outdoors. As weekend explorers, we—Oswald and Anja—often found ourselves craving something more than the usual city outings. We wanted experiences that were bold, immersive, and connected us to nature. But every time we searched for things to do in and around Johannesburg, we kept running into the same problem: not much out there for people who love a good thrill.

We’d seen how popular luxury car experiences were; where people could drive high-end vehicles like Land Rover and Porsche around a racetrack for a few laps. It was exciting, but it felt limited. We imagined something different: what if you could take a luxury 4x4 off the beaten path, onto a real trail, and spend the day conquering obstacles?

We offer full-day Jeep adventures on registered 4x4 trails just outside Johannesburg. You drive the vehicle yourself, with us convoying alongside you and a trained instructor guiding you through each challenge. It’s hands-on, heart-pumping, and designed for people who want to experience the wild side of luxury.

Overland isn’t just a business—it’s an extension of who we are. We love meeting new people, sharing stories, and spending weekends doing what we enjoy most: exploring. Our goal is to create something that brings people together, sparks joy, and offers a fresh way to experience the beauty of South Africa.
